Christmas

This year, we had a fantastic Christmas! We spent Christmas Eve with the Meldrum's. All the kids did a live nativity, and they were so good this year!




I thought that Miss Caitlyn did a GREAT job as the angel/star. She was so cute!


Avery and Mason- she was an angel/star, and he was Joseph. You can't really tell in this picture, but his staff was actually a magic wand! Haha!

After the nativity, we did some present opening, and a whole lot of playing! But, there weren't any great pictures from that. Oh well.


We made it home around 11:00- a little late, but we hurried to open our Christmas jammies, put out some cookies and milk for Santa, and off to bed so he could come. On Christmas morning, we had to wake the kids up at 8.

They were both so tired from the night before, but once Mason realized what day it was, he was wide awake.





Avery took some extra coaxing, but as soon as she noticed how excited her brother was (even if she didn't know what for), she perked right up to join us in the fun.




This was the first thing Mason saw when he came out of his room. He was so excited that Santa had found the cookies and milk.

Santa was really good to the kids this year. Mason got a Leapster and a bunch of games to play on it. He seriously has not put the thing down once since he got it.



Avery got some Princess baby dolls, and even though they are recommended for kids 3 and up, and she has broken the arms off several times, she LOVES them!



After some fun, we headed out to Grandma and Grandpa Nelson's to just veg. We all stayed in our pjs the entire day. We watched movies, ate a ton of food, and got some good laughs. There are no pics from the rest of Christmas day, obviously, but we had such a great time!
