Yesterday was Grandpa Meldrum's funeral, and it was suprisingly great! Don't get me wrong, it was a tough day, but I have never laughed so hard at a funeral in my life! My favorite part of the day was when they loaded up Grandpa's casket into his 1956 Ford pick up truck. He has been working on that truck for 20+ years, and it was his baby! It was so neat to see that bright yellow truck carrying his beautiful cedar casket down the streets to the cemetery- something I have never seen before, and will probably never get to see again! We are definitely going to miss Grandpa, but yesterday was a great tribute to his incredible life!

That is so beautiful. what a tribute to his life and i'm sure he was watching with so much joy at the legacy that he has left behind. Our thoughts are with your family at this time.
Sorry to hear about your grandpa. Kyle's grandfather died a month ago as well, it is always a bitter sweet moment. How cool to see his casket in the back of his truck. Does this mean that your blog is not private anymore?
