Merry Christmas!

We have had such a great Christmas this year! It started on Christmas eve with the annual Meldrum family get together. We go to Jonathan's parents house to celebrate with his parents, sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. This year we decided to do something special: we had a live nativity with all of the kids. It was so neat to see them all be so excited to talk about Christ's birth. Mason was a wise man, and Avery got to act as baby Jesus.

Front row L to R: Benjamin as a shepard, Abigail as an angel, Mason as a wiseman, Avery as baby Jesus, Elizabeth as a wiseman, Nolan as a wiseman, and Noah as a shepard

After the nativity, we all got to open presents, and we got spoiled as usual. My favorite of the year: WICKED TICKETS!!! I am seriously already counting down days until April!

After the Meldrum festivities, we made the treacherous drive home in a blizzard. It was crazy, but we were safe, and luckily we made it to bed before Santa came.

Today has been filled with presents, presents, and many more presents! We started at our own house, then drove to my parent's house. After a really great breakfast and a nap, we trekked to Jonathan's Grandma and Grandpa Meldrum's and then Grammy and Grandpa Mitchell's. It has been the best Christmas since we have been married. Avery has been so sweet all day, and Mason actually understands and is excited about everything that is going on.

Getting ready to open presents from Santa.

Santa brought him a Geo Trax train and a bunch of tracks.

Then it was time to open presents from Mom and Dad...

Mom and Dad were amazingly on the same page as Santa, and we got him an airplane set that goes with his train! He was so excited he couldn't stand it!!

I am so grateful for our families and everything that they have done for us this Christmas season. I hope that all of you have been as lucky as we have! Merry Christmas!!
