Suggestions?!? Please!
So, our ward started a new program to get all of the primary kids to read the Book of Mormon this year... Yes, this includes my two-year-old. Does anyone have any suggestions to help out with this? We just started, and it was so much drama to try to read to him because of the lack of pictures and all of the words that he just doesn't understand... Help!!

You could get the Book Of Mormon version with the pictures so maybe he would pay attention then!
I was going to say the same thing. We read with Hudson the book of mormon reader, its great, there's pics and he loves it. Its actually still a little over his head so I just read and talk about whats going on in a way he will understand. Good luck.
We use the the Family version of the Book of Mormon with Kaden. It's the same version as the normal BOM but, there are pictures. We started reading to Kaden when he turned two every night. I think it is just getting them into the whole routine of things. Kids at this age aren't going to get everything that is going on in the BOM, but they get into the habit of reading every day. They learn to love such a wonderful book. Kaden will not go to bed without reading from the Book of Mormon every night. Kids learn to love whatever you love. If it is something exciting to you they will think it is the greatest thing also. Good luck!!
P.S. Did you see our Jazz!!! I am happy to say we just might have a chance this round.
we have this ancient BOM that has pictures and sort of more simplified text. we started in january and finally finished 1 nephi last night. we haven't read it every day, but something tells me we'll be pressed to finish by the end of THIS year. i might have to look into the version marea has mentioned.
i know henry definitely can't understand everything we're reading, but it's so cool when he can tell us some of the stories or wants to look through and find all the pictures of the liahona.
