Memorial Day weekend was so much fun! We finally did what we've been saying for months we were going to do... We pierced Avery's ears!!
She did so great! She cried for about 5 minutes, and then just started laughing. It was so funny!
Then, on Monday, we braved the crowds and went to the zoo. Mason is for sure my child- he loves the zoo!! We spent over three hours there, looking at everything, and playing on the playground, and riding the train and carousel. It was so much fun!
Even though the Madagascar exhibit was not worth the wait in line, Mason loved the waterfall and wanted to spend the entire day looking at it.
This was Avery at the beginning of the day (Don't you love her tongue out!! That's how she spends most of her time.)...
... And this was Avery by the end of the day! She was so good!!

Not a really great picture, but we watched this peacock try to "seduce" the female for, like, 10 minutes. It was hilarious!

This past weekend, we went with the Knights down to the sand dunes. It was a blast! Unfortunately, I forgot my camera... Boo!!
In anticipation of our dunes trip, our dad bought Mason and me new helmets. Mason refused to take his off for three days straight! Here he is riding his motorcycle with his new helmet so that he would be "so safe"!
Finally, last night Eagle Mountain City had a family fun night. We decided to pack up and head over to the amphitheater to check it out. We didn't get to stay long because of the rain, but we did enjoy a KFC picnic, a stand-up comedian, and a little love from Mickey and Minnie.

Ryan, me, and Jonathan- Justi isn't in the picture because "someone had to take it", and it had to be her... Even though some other neighbors were sitting right next to us, and probably would have taken it for us!! :)

I am glad you updated. I love the zoo. We go often. Your kidos are getting big! Hallee says hi to Mason.
How fun you pierced Avery's ears!!! It is so darn cute, every little girl needs some jeweles in her ears. Sorry to hear about your family, it's crazy how everything can happen all at once in life.
This time of year we are missing Eagle Mountain and all the fun things that they have going on. Maybe we can buy our house back?
